Unique French onyx gilt-bronze seven light vase candelabra, late 19th century by Ferdinand Barbedienne, with an ovoid body ornamented with three ram head marks over a frieze engraved with bunch of grape branches and leaves. The spiral candle arms are beautifully engraved with foliate designs and centered with an incised column surmounted by a torch, the candle arms and the torch emerge from the ovoid body like a bouquet, supported on tripod with cloven hooves on a semi triform "Tripartite Shape" base.
